Lead Engineer - Full Stack

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Engineer - Full Stack to spearhead our engineering efforts. You will lead a team of developers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable web applications. Candidates are expected to be strong in several (not all) full-stack technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• 1Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers
• 2Drive architectural decisions and establish technical best practices
• 3Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications
• 4Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality standards
• 5Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on technical roadmaps
• 6Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance
• 7Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and growing the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong expertise in any 4–6 of the listed full-stack technologies
• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js
• Backend development experience using Node.js, .NET, or Java
• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and microservices
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
